The Jiangxi Cloud Computing and Internet of Things Summit Was Successfully Held
2012年7月5日，“云连世界·感知未来——2012’江西省云计算及物联网高峰论坛”在思创科技园成功举办。来自省内外的知名行业专家和学者、资深人士齐聚一堂，深入探讨了云计算及物联网的发展趋势和热点问题，分析和展示了云计算及物联网的典型应用案例和解决方案。本次论坛由江西省计算机学会、江西省信息中心、IBM（中国）有限公司、思创数码科技股份有限公司联合主办。
On July 5, 2012, the “Connecting the World Through Cloud Computing · Sensing the Future—2012 Jiangxi Cloud Computing and Internet of Things Summit Forum” was successfully held at the Sichuang Technology Park. Renowned industry experts, scholars, and senior professionals from both within and outside the province gathered to engage in in-depth discussions on the development trends and key issues in cloud computing and the Internet of Things, as well as to analyze and showcase typical application cases and solutions in these fields. The forum was jointly organized by the Jiangxi Computer Society, the Jiangxi Information Center, IBM (China) Co., Ltd., and Sichuang Digital Technology Co., Ltd.
江西省计算机学会理事长、南昌大学副校长李建民教授作开幕致辞，李教授首先介绍了当前云计算及物联网等新技术发展的宏观环境，并介绍了江西省云计算及物联网等新兴产业发展概况。他说，今年是云计算等新技术的务实应用之年，时机良好，我们应当以此为契机，积极助力江西省云计算及物联网产业的发展。
Professor Li Jianmin, President of the Jiangxi Computer Society and Vice President of Nanchang University, delivered the opening remarks. Professor Li began by outlining the broader context surrounding the development of new technologies such as cloud computing and the Internet of Things, and provided an overview of the growth of these emerging industries in Jiangxi Province. He noted that this year marks a pivotal moment for the practical application of new technologies like cloud computing, and that the timing is ideal. He emphasized that we should seize this opportunity to actively support the development of Jiangxi’s cloud computing and Internet of Things industries.

Mr. You Jianping, Chairman of Sichao Company, delivered an opening address. He began by extending a warm welcome and sincere gratitude to the guests in attendance, and then outlined Sichao’s progress in the field of new technologies: In recent years, Sichao has kept pace with the development and transformation of the IT industry, actively monitoring and tracking trends in emerging technologies such as cloud computing, the Internet of Things, and mobile internet, and has achieved some initial results: the company successfully implemented the “Smart Waterway” information project for the Wuxi section of the Southern Jiangsu Canal, the “Nanhai Yidian Tong” portal website, and the “Mobile Nanhai” mobile application. The company also won the bid for the “Comprehensive Information System Project for the Northern Jiangsu Canal Waterway.” Furthermore, its independently developed “IoT Sensing Waterway Solution” and “Lock Operation and Dispatch Platform Based on Intelligent Shipboard Terminals” consecutively won “Gold Awards” at the 15th and 16th China International Software Expo. Mr. You emphasized that Sichuang’s development and achievements in new technology fields are inseparable from the deep trust and support of our clients and partners. In the future, Sichuang will continue to strive as always.
随后，江西省计算机学会副理事长、江西省信息中心主任金峰研究员作主题报告《创新思路，集约化推进江西省电子政务建设》；江西省计算机学会副秘书长、江西师范大学计算机信息工程学院院长明文教授作《基于云计算的社会网络分析》的报告；IBM资深架构师：李明喆先生作《云的力量—驱动业务模式创新》的报告；思创数码科技股份有限公司总工程师王迅先生作《物联网解决方案-智能化信息系统的设计与实践》的报告。众说纷“云”，精彩纷呈！几位行业专家的报告内容丰富，分析透彻，引发了与会嘉宾强烈的兴趣，让大家了解了新资讯与技术，开拓了新思路。
Following that, Researcher Jin Feng, Vice Chairman of the Jiangxi Computer Society and Director of the Jiangxi Information Center, delivered a keynote speech titled “Innovative Approaches to the Intensive Development of Jiangxi’s E-Government”; Professor Ming Wen, Deputy Secretary-General of the Jiangxi Computer Society and Dean of the School of Computer and Information Engineering at Jiangxi Normal University, presented a report titled “Social Network Analysis Based on Cloud Computing”; Mr. Li Mingzhe, Senior Architect at IBM, presented a report titled “The Power of the Cloud: Driving Business Model Innovation”; and Mr. Wang Xun, Chief Engineer at Sichuang Digital Technology Co., Ltd., delivered a report titled “IoT Solutions: Design and Implementation of Intelligent Information Systems.” With a wealth of insights and a diverse array of perspectives, the event was truly spectacular! The reports by these industry experts were rich in content and thorough in analysis, sparking strong interest among attendees. They provided everyone with an understanding of the latest information and technologies, while also opening up new avenues of thought.
