Functions and Working Principle of Booster Valve:The pressure in conventional air ducts is normally limited to 1.0 MPa. In some cases, however, small-volume high-pressure gas is required for local applications. A booster valve is therefore installed to raise the pressure in branch pipelines.The working principle of the booster valve is as follows:Low-pressure gas flows into the booster valve and pushes the internal piston unit. By leveraging the difference in effective piston areas, the valve converts the incoming low pressure into a higher output pressure. It delivers steady high-pressure gas to the branch circuit to meet the operational requirements.

The working principle of the booster valve is as follows:There are two flow paths for the inlet pressure. One path opens the check valve to charge the boosting chambers A and B of the small cylinder. The other path delivers air to the driving chamber B of the large cylinder via the pressure regulating valve and directional valve, while the driving chamber A exhausts air.This pushes the large piston and the connected small piston to move leftwards. The pressure in boosting chamber B rises, opening the one-way valve and delivering high-pressure gas through the outlet.
